Yes he was Jan. I got an email asking me to buy an Amazon gift card for him as he was traveling. I called him and he indeed was hacked. Please disregard any correspondence of this type from him or anyone for that matter.

I thought so. I have seen this before, having received a similar email from someone else a couple of years ago.

The Start High School Hall of Fame Banquet and Induction is Saturday, April 4 at The Pinnacle. Is anyone planning to attend? If we have 10, we can all sit together. We have had a great time at past events. If you didn't get an order form, let me know and I can email a copy.

30, 40, 50 and even 60 were easy. This one has been tougher. When my parents were 70,  they were old......... Now here we are and we are not, I repeat, we are not old.

A quick reminder that this month’s “Fundango” is tomorrow, at the

Whitehouse Inn

, in Whitehouse, Ohio, that we have contacted the staff of the Inn, and all of the details have been finalized.

So once again, our February “Fundango” on Tuesday, February 25th, from 5 until 7 pm, at 10853 Waterville St., Whitehouse, Ohio (save me some of the prime rib please).

Oh and if you are interested in the details regarding our International Fundango, in Israel & Egypt, in January of 2021, I will have some fliers with me tomorrow to share, and I downloaded several photos of the itinerary, dates, and expenses on my “classmate profile” page for you to access whenever, or if ever, you should have an interest to do so.

Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Rick Burr is the one who had heart bypass surgery.  He is on the road to recovery but certainly could use some cheer from all of us in the Great Class of '68.  Please send him a message.

Rick - I'm sorry to hear about your surgery, but I will keep you in my prayers and hope that you make a speedy recovery.  Take care of yourself, and follow doctors' orders.  Get well soon.   Marcia (Kelso) Wilkinson

To the Great Class of '68 - who would have ever thought we would be facing such a national health crisis.  Let's keep in touch with all those near & dear.  Check on those near you - a brief phone call or text may be just what someone needs.  I'm blessed to have awesome neighbors checking on me daily & my Sis lives 3 miles away - but she's older than me so I'm thinking she'll need the help.  Anyway I pray for all of us daily. Please take all the necessary precautions & be safe!

Jeff - since you've been coming here to The Clinic, I know you are in very good hands - with your team.  I will pray for you and hope you get better soon.  You sure have had a tough time of it lately, but I know things will get better.  I don't think God's ready for you yet, and we've all heard what a wonderful nurse you have by your side.  Don't give up, and keep a positive attitude.  Thanks for letting us all know what's going on.  Please keep the faith.    Marcia (Kelso) Wilkinson

Richard Burr

Jeff, I am praying for you and besides thoughts and prayers for you, wishing your doctors to use all of their talent and experience in treating you. God will oversee this all and you will be in loving hands. Take care.

Jeff, I pray for your rapid and full recovery!  I wish you the best of luck on your upcoming surgery.  I hope everything works out well for you.  I trust you will receive the best medical care.  I look forward to hearing from you after your recovery.  Get well!

Jim...

Thanks for asking, Nancy.   Yes doing well, day by day.  Was getting ready to go to cardio rehab today, but this coronavirus thing has be hesitant, so I put it off for a couple of weeks.  Since it's in my best interest to stay at home, I can do what I can here to exercise.

Walter "Chip" Carstensen

Best wishes to Jeff Willets and Rick Burr on their health issues.  We all need to keep them in our thoughts and prayers.  This is an especially trying time, but nothing that we "68 " graduates haven't weathered before.  Just surviving 1968 alone was harrowing - the year that changed everything.   All the best to each of you.  Stay honkered down.  This too shall pass.
