I am so sorry to read that Dean had passed. He was one of the funniest guys I have ever met. The way he would bust on Jim McGowan and his old Plymouth with running boards and suicide doors. Good Times. We used to go up to Devils Lake and Lake James and just hang. May God Bless you Dean.

DUNCAN Dean M. Dean M. Duncan, age 57, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 10, 2008, at St. Anne Mercy Hospital surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born on August 7, 1950, to loving parents, Ralph and Clara (Taylor) Duncan. Dean always said his family was his greatest blessing from the Lord and cherished every moment spent together. Dean grew up in Toledo, Ohio, attended Longfellow Elementary and graduated from Start High School in 1968. Dean was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Dean met his wife, Lori at Devil's Lake where they fell in love and married on September 10, 1993. Dean wore many hats as President of Duncan Metal Spinning, where he was hard working, highly respected, and admired by everyone who was blessed to work with him. Dean was a longtime member of Devil's Lake Yacht Club and Schnipke's Pond. He enjoyed relaxing at the family cottage on Devil's Lake, biking, auto racing, reading the bible and a good book, relaxing with a cold beer and watching Jeopardy every night with his wife. Dean was an active member of Pilgrim Church, where he served and volunteered to help others in the community. His greatest joy came from spending time with his wife, children and especially his new grandson, Jaxon Marshall. Dean was an honest, selfless man who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Dean is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Lori (Kazmierczak); his wonderful children, Adam (Courtney and Jaxon), Alexander (Jessica Schaefer), and Jennifer Kasten; his beloved sisters, Sharon and Barbara; dear sister-in-law, Janice Mullins (Rob Miller) and father-in-law, Tom Kazmierczak, and cherished extended family and dear friends. Dean is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Clara; and his mother-in-law, Joyce Kazmierczak. Family and friends are welcome to visit from 2-4 p.m. and 5-9 p.m. on Friday, June 13, at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave.
