The beloved husband of Patricia (LaVoy) for 42 years, wonderful father of Laura (Eric), Corrina (Stephen), Mateo (Joyce) and Miqueas (Mary) has passed away. He will be mourned also by his 5 grandchildren; his brothers, Robert and Rick, and many other family and friends. He will be missed for his easy laughter and smile, his wise counsel, listening ear and mostly his warm and loving way of making all around him feel special and loved. His loved ones are confident he is safe in Jehovah God's memory, awaiting a resurrection to the soon to come paradise earth- they can't wait to welcome him back. Among the things Rudy loved were teaching the Bible to others, fighting fires as a Toledo City Firefighter and making people look good as a skilled tailor.
A Memorial of his life will be held at Rogers High School Auditorium (222 McTigue Drive) on Monday, August 12, 2013, at 4:00 (visitation with family from 2:30-4:00). The family requests that no flowers or plants be sent, instead donations may be made to the "Toledo A.S.L. Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses", whose work was near and dear to Rudy's heart.
