I saw Steve at the Toledo Museum of Art shortly before he passes away of cancer. He was with his family, and I was with mine. We spoke briefly. I recall that shortly prior to his death his son, who was a Start student, received a perfect score (Math) on his SAT. I am certain that he was a very proud father.
