Yes Dave,

It went well for our first try. How nice it is for us out of towners to be able to participate and spend time with old friends. Roger has a great singing voice and a karaoke set up in his ManCave. If he can figure it out maybe we can have a karaoke funfango. So sorry my internet reception didn't hold up all the way out to the farther reaches of the yard. We have a banana tree That has fruit on it and is ready to pick. That was going to be the highlight of my tour. Oh well maybe next time.

We hope that more of you Spartans can join in next time let's see we had Dale, La-Li & I, Dave , Roger, Chris, Marcia, Joan, Kathy. Bonnie, Karen, Jan, George & Chip in attendance.  Oh yes and Arnie.. Thanks Marcia!

Happy to report that the Boys finally beat the girls at something by defeating them 7 to 6 at 1968 Trivia. Although there were some complaints about there being too many sports trivia questions. We will try and fix that next time Karen!

So stay well everyone, don't venture out unless you have to. We want you all to stay safe and healthy until we can all be together again.

Aloha from quarentine in Hawaii

Pat Gilbert

Pat - you forgot that Arnie was there too.  Remember the tour of his liquor cabinet?  How could anyone forget Arnie?  We saw some beautiful homes.  Goerge Koinis was gracious enough to show his place, and Roger's man cave is really something else.  I didn't know you had such a great voice, Roger, and thank you for the entertainment.  Going to have to brush up on my 1968 trivia.  Karen, you're starting to sound like a southerner with the "y'all" saying.  It was good seeing everyone again, and I'm looking forward to the next time.  Thanks Dale, Pat and Chip.

Thoughts and prayers to everyone who has lost a friend or family member in the wars the country has fought in.  Please thank a veteran (if you can get out and about) as they're all important for us having freedom and all our many advantages.  I was just reminded - freedom is not free.  Have a blessed Memorial Day!  Stay safe and healthy.

Ditto Marcia. I still vote for the senior prom was at the rec center. Most every other dance was in the cafeteria. Good old Johnny Knorr and his orcastra. They were at many or all dances I believe....

My mind isn't what it once was but I thought the Student Council Dance was in the cafeteria. The prom was definitly at the LCRC. I remember because there was a very bad accident at the corner of Key and Heatherdowns folowing. I'm sorry to say I'm not so good at names anymore but it was one of our fellow students that owned a really nice gold colored  62 Chevy. I'll never forget that night.

I think Homecoming was at the Rec Center. Didn't we have an after partey at Imperial Lanes? I too have senior moments so could be way off the Imperial Lanes thing.

Your right Mark I don't remember his name either but he was one of our classmates

I have the original senior prom "bid" - "One Enchanted Evening" was held Saturday, May 18,1968 at the Lucas County Rec Center with the Lloyd Lewis Orchestra.

I vaguely remember the prom at the Rec Center and an after party at a bowling alley.  Dang, that was a half century ago!!

Hope you all are staying safe and healthy!  ðŸŒµ

Larry Rosell?

05/27/20 02:57 PM #3393

Francis Bialecki

Hey Pat, it wasn't Larry Rosell, he was in the class of 67. He was in a bad wreck when he crashed his Corvette over by the Secor Hut doing about 80 down Sylvania Ave and lost control and flipped his Vette.
