Dale's sudden passing certainly came as a surprise and probably caused many of us to contemplate our own mortality. Condolences to Dale’s family.

In honor of Dale, Eddie has arranged our next Fundango to be at Ralphie's, Dale's favorite hangout. (Besides OSU). Tuesday, April 30 at 3:30, 6609 Airport hwy. Ralphie's was named after Dale's dad. (In case anyone didn't know) Please come out and celebrate Dale, wear your Ohio State gear (or Michigan to make him chuckle)
Eddie also found out this Wednesday, 4/24 at 5:30, Ralphie's is having their own celebration of Dale's life. Also free food from 6:30-7:30.

Penn State students think of Ohio State as The Enemy (eternal football rivalry), but my colleagues and I have always regarded OSU as a friendly peer institution. I'm happy to put on a (virtual) OSU shirt to honor Dale's memory. WIsh I could do it in person; y'all give him a great sendoff.

Fellow Spartans,  For the past few years, our fandango group decided to honor our fallen classmates with a donation to their charity of choice, or if not, we will donate to  either Tunnel to Towers or St Jude.  We have been asking for donations every month from our small group.  They all have been stepping up these past years.  This will be our 10th anniversary for our fandangos.  I invite any of our fellow Spartans to join our get together.  Every month on the last Tuesday of each month.  If you can't join us, consider donating to our memorial fund.  Every bit helps.  We losing more of  our friends.  Join us.  If you would like to donate to our fund, My address is 3111 Morin Point St. Erie, Mi 48133.  734-8488007 for any questions.  Thank you  Kim

This is what  "Progressive " and Liberal rules and regulations will do to our country.  It's a shame that they don't care about these students.  Thanks Lyndon Johnson, you started it.  Very Sad

I was watching one of the new game shows on tv the other day. One of the questions was "Who were 2 Astronauts that walked on the moon? The one guy who was probably in his 50's didn't know that Alan Shepard was the first person to walk on the moon. How does someone not know that. They don't teach history in schools anymore. To many people want to erase history from our country. Without history being taught to the children the same bad mistakes can happen again and I believe they will. It's sad to say that threats and violence seem to be the answer to everything anymore.

Neil Armstrong was first. Could we keep this not political please?

Thank you Elizabeth, clear, concise. And yes it was Neil Armstrong. Wapakenta

Anyone listen to a podcast called 'short history of'. They're about 45 min long  they're interesting

Sorry I misspoke he thought Alan Shepard was the first to walk on the moon. I meant to say who didn't know Armstrong was the first. Why what I said about history not being taught in schools is being political or that people seem to be more violent now about handleing problems? I didn't bring up any political party or any person. I was just speaking facts that a lot of schools don't teach history like they used to. Had nothing to do with politics. Had to do with the curiculum.
