Mike was a Corporal in the US Marine Corps, Sales associate with Tom Cater Auto Salesfrom 1984 to 2009, before that he worked as a loader for RoadwayTrucking, He was a life long member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church. He was a WWII history buff. An advid sports fan especially of the Detroit Tigers and Lions, he enjoyed playing Euchre and Texas Hold"em, and Shooting Pool with his friends. At the last reunion he sure seemed to be up beat, Good Lord I had a hard time getting a word in edge wise. He sure had alot to talk about. and I could tell he was a car salesman . I grew up with Mike, who's Grand Mother lived down the street from me. We used to go over to her house to eat the Polish donuts she made. We talked for a long time at the reunion about our old football days at Regina Coeli grade school (he was my tailback). I can't believe he is no longer with us, he will be missed.

Mike was 1 of my best friends along with Niel Wiktor,Tom Cater,Tony Wolfe,Angie Peake,and I saw him in 2008 when I was up there on vacation. I did not stop by in 2009 at Caters Auto Sales but will miss the visits. We had a lot of crazy times in High School. Snowing snow balls off the roof of Ang Peakes' dads 1959 Ford station wagon hanging on to the roof rack. Partiing at Jill Gattons house .....WOW !!!!! I'm outta here.....Jerry Schings
