Steve was my cousin. He passed away Sept 23, 2007 bravely fighting myelogenous leukemia and lung cancer.Steve worked for the State of Michigan Penal System for 30 years starting as a probation officer and last as the supervisor of the State's Electronic Monitoring Center in Lansing. Our family misses his sense of humor and presence at family reunions.
Steven Bock was my first love, at 6 years old... My friend down the street, her and I would play "Big Steven", in 1956..She d be me, Id be the bear, and I would try to kill my friend and "Big Steven" came to the rescue.. We were 6 years old....I dont know which one of us played a duel role... Steve called me up to go bowling, by Rudy s hotdogs, in 1960..I was then 10.... I think of Richard Steven Bock, or Steven Richard Bock, quite often, and how we played to the hilt, our imaginations, in a missed and never to be again, by gone era....Sandi Bracey Belliveau/Canton, Ohio
