Steven L.
Steven L. Henly, age 66, of Toledo, passed away January 3, 2017, at home. Steven was born May 13, 1950 in Toledo to Dale and Audrey (Zimmerman) Henly. He was owner/operator of The Henly Corp. for 30 plus years retiring in 2013. He loved going to concerts, playing guitar, gardening and enjoyed going to various eating establishments throughout Toledo. Steven spent many summers at Devils Lake, enjoying boating and fishing. He was currently enjoying retirement. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Mark W. Henly; daughter, Tracy L. (Tommy, II) Lytten; loving companion, Roxanne J. Schonter; grandson, Hunter Lytten; granddaughter, Madison Lytten; brother-in-law, Thomas “Joe” Szmania; nieces, Cathy (Paul) Kamenca and Amy Szmania. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Linda; and grandson, Logan.
The family will receive guests Sunday, January 8, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home - NW Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Monday, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania.
