Angelo Philip Peake, age 65, passed away Monday, September 14, 2015, at his home in Toledo. Angelo was born July 29, 1950, in Toledo to Albert and Philomae Peake. His father started Al Peake and Sons Produce and Angelo was dedicated to continuing his father's commitment to quality service. Angelo was a wonderful storyteller. He was a true people person and loved entertaining people and making them laugh. Angelo will be remembered for his commitment to his work, his good advice, and his great sense of humor. "Always bring back your receipt" was one of his classic lines.
Angelo is survived by his children, Angelo Peake II, Ericka Peake, Lisa Peake, Chris Peake, and Heather Peake, and brothers, Al (Joanie) and Daryl Peake. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 19, 2015, at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park in Sylvania. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice .
