Gary Johnson - you are far too intelligent & way too talented to be involved in any type of bribery scheme!!

Hey all, I am pleased to announce that I underwent a total knee replacement surgery about 3 hours ago, and I'm already up and moving around with a walker! Our medical technology has improved by leaps and bounds in our great and wonderful country: The USA!

Hey Kim congratz!

I only hope that the surgeon didn't use parts from China. I hear that one of the side effect from that could cause your knee to become a Chi-knee!

Awesome, my good friend. Now don't start running the 24 K before the doc gives you the green light.

I hope everyone is recovering well. I wondering if anyone would like to meet up this Friday, 7/17 @ noon, to socially distance at Oleander park in Sylvania. Park in the Tam-O-Shanter parking lot. Cross Vicksburg and enter the park thru any of the 3 gates. This is a free entry. Bring your chair or blanket and your lunch and beverages. I'm not sure if we can get picnic tables but if we have our chairs we should be able to be under the trees. Hope to see many of you Spartans for some fresh air and frivolity. 🀩

What a wonderful idea Kathy! An outdoor picnic Fundango. A better place you couldn't find than Oleander Park. It is beautiful if memory serves. We would certainly join this outing were we in Toledo... Have fun gang and please don't forget your masks! Maybe you could do a Zoom at the same time? I know many of the out of town Spartans would love to see some old friends and look at that beautiful park in the process.

Friday at Olander Park is co-ed, guys and gals or how ever you identify yourself are welcome. BYOEverything. Sun screen, squirt guns, frizbee, volleyball. You know your limitations?

We aren't far from Flower Hospital....

Great idea Kathy Friday sounds fun and safe! Wish I could be there but Friday at 1pm I get my prosthesis(hopefully it will be ready Fri). So I hope to be walking somewhat on Fri and start rehab the following week to learn how to walk again.

I hope we can get another Olander or one of our other great parks here in the area. I've been pretty much cooped at home since January....would enjoy getting out seeing everyone.

Stay Safe everyone!!!!!!

Frank

I received a message that John Underwood had a stroke last Saturday and complications from carotid artery surgery for a 100% blockage on one side. This complication followed his second dose of chemo.

In addition, Joyce Levre Snively's husband is going through cancer treatment at Moffitt in Tampa. Our classmates needs all the positive thoughts we can muster.
