Shocked and saddened by the news of Rogers’s passing. Did not know him well in high school but spent some quality time with he and Elaine at dinner one night and karaoke another evening at our reunion. A character, funny and engaging, with some great stories and a very good singer. Susan and I extend our deepest sympathy to Elaine and his family. Rest In Peace, Roger.

Roger was a warrior: he battled with many surgeries and their consequences, while never losing his warm personality and zest for life. He was a true Spartan.

Just wanted to share some quick thoughts regarding the November “Fundango” that Ed and I are proposing. We thought that it would be fitting to have as our theme for this month’s “Fundango,” the Roger Worley Memorial.

So we are having the “Fundango,” on Tuesday, November 17th, at Luckie’s Barn & Grill (3311 Navarre Ave., Oregon, OH), which has kind a country flavor to it (we think that Roger would have liked going there).

Because of pandemic protocols, we cannot secure reservations for large groups, so the plan is for a lot of us to show up at 4 pm, and to secure a table area for ourselves.

So grab your Stetson Hat, and plan on meeting us at Luckie’s, for the Roger Worley Memorial, on Tuesday, November 17th, at 4 pm.
