My prayers go out to Jeff and Pat's family. Jeff grew up down the street from me so we were friends since kindergarten. I would hang out at his house a lot and knew his parents very well. Pat and I used to hang out together at school. We double dated for homecoming dance and had a blast that night. Both Jeff and Pat will be deeply missed by their family and friends

So sorry to hear of Pat and Jeff's passing. Jeff was the first visitor at Bill's memorial, he fought the fight against his illness. Actually. he looked good for all he had been through. R.I.P., guys.

Kathy Willets called me today to let me know of Jeff's passing. I told her Chip had posted his passing on this site. She said his obituary would be in Sundays paper with the details of his visitation and funeral arrangements.. She said that Jeff had been in the hospital for the last couple of weeks.

I also talked with Ray Ritchie this evening, he is doing well living in Florida. He said he was going to try and come up for a visit hopefully in May or June. I will keep everyone posted that we may be able to all get together one night while he is here.

I hope everyone is doing well and we all try to stay connected.

Remember to always reach out to classmates that may be having dificulty and might need some help or just someone to talk to.

May God bless and take care of all of our classmates past and present.

So very sorry to hear of Jeff and Pat's passing. Though they are now gone, the lesson they teach me is being grateful for every day on this earth.  That they are so precious and I thank God for each and very one.  Going on 3 years since my open heart, quad bypass surgery, and at my age, time is precious, Jeff and Pat, May God grant you both eternal peace.

I am depressed tonight. We have lost a few significant classmates these past few weeks. Not that I was paticularly close to any one of them, but that they were people we all knew, well.

I cope with my depression, well, I hope. I think we all have a common denominator, to help us cope with loss. Between us, I think we all have something in common, music! I find myself reflecting on all that has past by these pasrt few weeks with music. In my case, I have music videos that I really like to watch. Tonight, I am watching The Eagles, Farewell Tour #1. If you are familiar with this video, you get the jest here…The Eagles are not my favorite group, but I think this is the best music video I have. As a result, it is one of my go to videos.

I trust that all of you are safe, well, and at peace with our loss. One day, it will be us that are gone.
God bless you all!

Jim...

Hey all you Florida Spartans - let us know you're ok please!  Prayers for all those in Florida - the devastation looks awful.  That was one nasty hurricane.  Look out Charleston, S. Carolina

Fellow Dpartans: appreciate your concern! Susan and I are doing well and no damage to house. That was one large slow moving hurricane! Still getting some lingering rain and winds but should be out of here by midnight. I also wish the best to other classmates in southern and central Florida. Would also like to wish all our ailing classmates well. Take care all.
