After Start, I traveled, and toyed with cars for two years. During this two year period I worked for Ron Sturdevant's father moving furniture. I then became an Iron Worker where I learned that I did not like working for a living. This I decided one day while working to build the Monroe Power Plant. I decided that day to start a career in Aviation.
After winning the WTTO Sunshine machine, 1970 Z-28, I sold it and used the money to build up my 69 Camero and go to College and take flying lessons.
1 year at UT, we called it TU back then.
Embry Riddle Aeronautical University for 3 years. BS Degree in Aeronautical Science. Flight instructed at my University and taught a night class there.
Joined the Navy to fly jets, A-4 & A-7. After 10 years got out and joined American Airlines and the Air National Guard in Toledo. Flew the Air Force A-7 and the F-16.
Retired from the Guard in 1997.
Still at American where I flew the DC-10, MD-80, B 757, 767, 777 and hope to get 787 training soon.
Did the usual stuff, got married, had a child, got divorced, then got smart and married the right Lady, we were married at the Vatican 02/22/02, a long story.
Life is good. Still have my lovely wife, my health, my hair.
As Edith Piaf would sing No Regrets!
Thanks to all of you that had an influence on me. My life has been enriched by you, and it is a pleasure to have met, associated with, and known you. Hope to see you at another reunion soon.

Well thanks Frank, that is mighty kind of you.
Pat how are you doing on your 64th?
Cheryl, Sorry it took so long for my response. I don't check this as often as I should. Perhaps I was the captain on one of your flights. Now I pretty much only fly 777's to deep South America out of Miami.
Tom, like I said on the private side of this website, I feel sorry for those who did not serve because it was so much fun and rewarding, congrats and keep writing. You have proven the benefits of experiencing hard work, unselfish sacrifice, and teamwork. I look forward to reading your work.
