You are right Gary, I went by the number of classmates that have posted a profile which is 239. Thank you for the correction.

The actual number in the Start High Class of '68 was 463.  Frank, thank you for a beautiful post.  We are all "of the age" & you never know when it's your turn to meet your Maker.  I encourage everyone to come to the monthly Fundango - you never know who you'll run into or what memories you can recall together. There's no hoods or socials - just a group of aging folks who get together for some fun.  Life is short - make the most of it.  I think the next Fundango will probably be August 23rd - watch for details.

Words cannot express the appreciation for the kind thoughts and prayers sent to my family during this sad time. Bill would have been super impressed to know how many classmates and Spartans from other classes came to express their sadness over his passing. The flowers that our class sent were beautiful. Again, keep all our classmates in your thoughts and prayers. Love and thank you, Cathy

I'm asking  for your prayers and thoughts.  2 years ago I underwent a radical tonsilectomy at the Celveland Clinc, where they removed all of my lymph nodes on the right side of my neck.  Since that time I have been unable to eat anything or even sallow water.  Which means that I go to Toledo Hospital for infusion of 2000 litres of fluid everyday intraveiniously., which takes 2 hours, I'm able to do that also at Flower Hospital along with the fliud I get and thje radiation, can only get radiation at Flower so I switched my infusion to Flower..  If that wasn't enough I was diagnosed with cancer for the 4th time again on my right tonsil and tongue.  Today was my 4th week out of seven for treatment.  I get an hours worth of Monoclonal Antidbody every Tuesday, and I get Radiation 5 days a week for 7 weeks.  They assure me that they will cure me of the tumor, and I have no doubt that I will prevail once again, I've beat cancer 3 times already, so I'm confident I will again.  With the help orf my beautiful wife, Kathy, I'll kick this cancer to the curb, just like the other 3 times she nursed me back to health.  So keep the prayers coming, I can surely use all of the help I can muster.

As requested, an update my Radiologist scoped my throat today, and was happy to report that the tumor is much smaller now.  I forgot to mention that I also have luekemia, so that's in the mix.

Ok Spartans... Time for some good news! As you know I had an 11 day stay in the hospital in Las Vegas with a low hemoglobin count of 5. I received 5 blood transfusions and 4 infusions of Rituxan a chemotherapy like drug to stop my antibodies from killing off my red blood cells. i'm Happy to report that a month after the last infusion my hemoglobin count is holding at 11.4. Only down a few tenths. So if this trend holds I should be ok. I'd like to thank you all for your prayers and healing thoughts. I'm sure Jeff will agree with me that knowing of your support helps alot when you are recooperating from such a serious medical condition. Stay safe and stay  healthy gang!
