What a great Fundango yesterday!! I think there were at least 25 of us.  If you have never attended a Fundango, you're missing out. It's not like the cliques in high school.  We're all on the same level - same aging process - similar aches & pains - all with stories to tell & laughs to share.  Please consider joining us. I think you'll enjoy it.

Our dear Marge Updegraff Mendeljian needs to turn over the job of posting pictures to the website.  It is a chore from what she tells us. I'm not a "techy" so I wouldn't know.  She is asking someone to take over this job.  If you enjoy seeing the pictures & are "techy" inclined, please consider doing this.  If you have grandkids, they can probably help.  I know our out-of-town/state folks enjoy the pics as well.  Deb Pfann has been taking pics in Marge's absence so there's some ready for posting.  Please contact Marge, Deb or me.

And just one more thing - HAPPY & HEALTHY 2026!!!!

I remember Rick was in Mrs. Day's second grade class at Longfellow, and I kind of had a crush on him.  I pray for his family that they have peace at this time of loss.  Rest in Peace, Rick.

I remember Mrs. Allen very well. We all thought she was a "cool" teacher.

On another topic, the Start High girls won the City Basketball Championship!

We are 2 years from our 60th year anniversary of our graduation. Have you classmates in Toledo given any thoughts to it at your get togethers. Just a thought

I think i was in Rick's K and/or Mrs. Duncan's first grade at Longfellow before my family moved to the DeVeaux district.  In any case, I was so sad when he told me a few years back about the demise of the original school on Jackman. He said "yeah, it seems like nothing is sacred anymore". That really stuck with me for some reason ... Rest in peace, Rick, an A1 kind of guy.

Happy valentine's day Spartans.   Also, happy birthday Pam...2/14.😍

Our next fundango will be Tuesday,  2/24 at a new time.  1 o'clock due to Eddie now working full time 4-12 at the art museum.   He is no longer off during the week.  1 o'clock allows him a couple of hours to enjoy our company. 😘ðŸĪŠ  Hope this is ok with everyone.   He is the one that schedules these things.  Hope to see many Spartans there.  This is the location of our original fundango.  Different name in 2014.  See you soon.

I just learned yesterday that our classmate Ed "Butch" Cassidy has been diagnosed with lung cancer. Please keep Butch in your thoughts and prayers as he and his family go through his treatment and his hopeful total recovery.

If you know how to contact Butch I'm sure he would possibly enjoy hearing words of encouragement from his friends and classmates that are praying and pulling for him to recover.

Thanks

Frank
