I just learned yesterday that our classmate Ed "Butch" Cassidy has been diagnosed with lung cancer. Please keep Butch in your thoughts and prayers as he and his family go through his treatment and his hopeful total recovery.

If you know how to contact Butch I'm sure he would possibly enjoy hearing words of encouragement from his friends and classmates that are praying and pulling for him to recover.

Thanks to everyone who came to Tony Packo's last Tuesday.   FYI,  this old Hungarian neighbor has their Birmingham Ethnic Festival on August 16 starting at 12 noon.  Last year was the 1st one since covid.   It used to be a big festival but if was small last year.   If you are looking for authentic Hungarian chicken paprika or stuffed cabbage, bacon bread and othe Hungarian desserts, it is worth a visit.  St Stephen's church was selling the original Hungarian cook books too.  I have a couple of the ones from the 1950-60's.  I enjoy going cuz it brings back memories of my childhood.   I walk down Consaul street to Woodford and check out my mom's old house.  The neighborhood is a little scary,  but I did it last year just fine.

Next fundango is next week, Thursday instead of Tuesday for the memorial weekend travelers.  May 28 at 12:45 at Hot Sizzling Wok, 2333 Laskey rd in Toledo 43613.  Maybe a different day may bring out more, different people.   I know we were here not too long ago but I wasn't able to come then.  Sorry if this offends anyone.  😘🤪  Have a safe and great memorial weekend.  Remember our veterans and current service people.   Thank all of you for your service.🏖🇺🇲❤>?

Thanks Kathy I hope you will continue to move Fandango's to different days. I can never make Tuesday because of Physical Therapy. I cannot make the next one but hopefully if you continue to have them on  different days I will be able to make some of those. To all of those who served in the military from our class and to all the men and women who have served our country you are remembered and we all thank you for your service and sacrifice !!!!! Have a Safe and enjoyable holiday!
